We really enjoyed seeing the tango show in this small intimate theatre inside Galerias Pacifico. The tickets weren't cheap (we paid about $25-30 US) and we had to purchase them from the box office at the mall (cash only) in advance of the show, but the dancing was superb and a once in a lifetime experience. We saw snippets of... More

This was a wonderful show. As other posters have noted, the show is in a small theater in the Centro Cultural Borges at the Galerias Pacifico. We wanted to avoid the over-priced tourist extravaganzas. This was the perfect solution. Cost for 4 was ~$94 The dancers were superb. The view from the 5th row was fine. Duration was 90". Audience... We went to the Friday night show. Note: they only take cash! I invited my Argentinean wife as a surprise and I wasn't sure if she was going to like it because, after all, many argentines don't view tango with the same exotic lens that foreigners do. It turns out we loved it. The show was provocative but not crude... More

My partner and I were looking for a traditional tango experience while in Buenos Aires that wasn't too touristy. We found this show on trip advisor just 2hrs before show, so went to ticket office and bought tickets. It was held in the cultural centre in a small theatre, which was about half full that evening. The show was just... More

Absolutely fabulous show. The dancing is stunningly good and the choreography shows the dance at its best. It's good value too. It doesn't include dinner or drinks or transport, but that's what makes it more of a locals affair, which is nice to be part of. Show starts at 8pm and last around 80 minutes, so you can have dinner... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. We wanted to see some tango but not pay a fortune for a tourist trap or go into late hours of the night. This fits the bill on both counts. You can get discount tickets at the ticket booth by the Obelisco, but keep in mind you must go more than an... More

Within a nicely setup cultural center where you can enjoy visual arts and workshops, there's an amazing, authentic tango show (not just to attract tourists); with a live band, dancers and singers. The show is absolutely fabulous, the price is more than fair, and the performance of everyone on stage is excellent. I highly recommend this show if you want... More

If you do not want to see the "tourist" tango shows, with bus loads of people, then this is the place to go! It is a small theatre (seats about 200), situated in a beautiful shopping plaza.. THe show was well done, the dancers worked hard to rovide entertainment. THe musicians played very well, non stop. For $35USD this is... More

The Centro Cultural Borges is located at the Galerias Pacifico within walking distance from Casa Rosada and Plaza de Mayo. Great free art galery to visit.

Show was brilliant. We went with 2 children after reading the tripadvisor reviews and were very pleased we did. The kids were enthralled. Very good price. Dancers were amazing - so fast. Also loved the musicians. The accordion player looked like Mr Bean which the kids loved. Definitely worth a visit.
