We just love the multiple options of quality restaurants in the area. The neighborhood is safe to walk at night, there is a lot of options for hotels and it's near other attractions of the city and from Aeroparque airport.

We landed very early in the morning on a flight from Lima to Buenos Aires and the owner was very accommodating in allowing us to access the apartment. The apartment was clean and had all available necessities. We were traveling with a 12 and 9 year old and the pool was a huge draw. Unfortunately, the weather was too cold... More

The name Hollywood is based on the fact that, from the 90s, the area is home to several radio and television studios. Today it is one of the trendiest parts of Palermo and Buenos Aires, along with Palermo Soho While Palermo Soho focuses more on shopping, Palermo Hollywood is all about restaurants, cafés and clubs. Highly recommended for a good... More

We came to BA for a wedding and wanted to stay near the other guests. Otherwise I would not recommend staying there. There are no hotels only boutiques and B&Bs. As an older tourist (seasoned) Palermo Hollywood is a nice place to visit but not to stay. It's dirty, sidewalks are terrible, graffiti everywhere. It is far from all the... More

This is one of thethe several leafy, hip, chic suburbs outside the center. Good for shopping, dining, strolling. Pretty much interchangeable but you don't realize it until you've seen them all!

A friend of mine told me that this was the best area in Buenos Aires to stay. During the week is a bit dead, but during the weekend it gets crazy. Lots of bars and restaurants, people drinking in the streets. Absolutely a fun place to be.

Palermo Hollywood is a few blocks from Palermo Soho. It is a lot quieter and smaller. There are several bars and nightclubs though some of them seemed to be either private or you needed invitation. If you have free time during a nice evening... this might be a good place to visit. Buenos Aires has lost a lot of appeal... More
