In Puerto Madero, the best and most modern district of Buenos Aires, is located Madero Tango, with a matchless Vista of the river and the City, that is excluding protagonist of the magic of the place. There conjugates song, dance and a spectacular gastronomy, within the framework of an impressive hall and great category by its design and atmosphere.

WOW big place with about 400 in attendance. The meal (oh my more #2 grade steak) and wine. The show although all in Spanish was fantastic with about 14 performers and 8 persons in the band . It was a big history production taking us from the 1930’s to the present day. They had a fantastic rear projection system that... More

One of the most romantic experiences you can do in Buenos Aires. We've seen several shows in the city and this was our favourite. With most shows you can get a bit bored after 10/20 minutes, but here it's cleverly done to keep you engaged throughout. In our case it was like an evolution of tango story. The food was... More

We paid £120 for 2. The hotel pick up was on time. The 3 course meal was average, some wines, champagne and beer are included in the price. Seating was a bit cramped with everybody sitting at long tables . The show lasts approx. 11/2 hours and was very professional . Tango lessons are included in the price but are... More

As this time of year humid, overcast, spotty showers but yet all 6 of us prepared for an incredidable evening of Argentinian Tango and culinary delight. An occassion to dress up we were seated two rows in front of the stage right in the center and our visual was without comparison! We were greeted by a smiling hostess named Alejandra... More

It was enjoyable to watch the tango show, and although I was expecting to see traditional tango (where the dancers wear formal attire as in ballroom dancing), it was still a good show. For US $130 for two, we had a 3-course dinner which also included a bottle of white wine, bottled water, soda, hotel pick-up and return. And the... More

My husband and I were in Argentina this visit for a wedding. After that event we spent a few days in the Porta Madero area and attended this show. I thought it was extremely entertaining! Although I regretfully do not speak Spanish I was entranced in the beautiful story that did not require my knowledge of the language. Beautiful! Although... More

We were picked up from our hotel with no problem, prior to purchasing our ticket we were told we had 2 options,  $55 which includes, dinner, dessert and the Tango show. Or $65 for an additional choice on the menu and a bottle of wine,  versus a glass with the other oprion. We entered the restaurant and we were immediately... More

Booked Madero because of issue with reservations at another place and deeply regreted it. The dancers and singers are good but the show is very bland and uninteresting. The only good part was the band playing Piazolla and the waitress thought that was a good time to make me pay for dinner and list all itens and prices consumed. Ruined... More

We were expecting a SEXY Tango show, instead it's a sexist, verging on misogynist show. Granted, I don't speak Spanish so I'm basing my interpretation strictly on the visuals which were offensive to say the least – women as chattel. We opted to get our own transportation there which was fine, seat was good, service was good, food was average,... More

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighbourhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighbourhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolise this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
