Beautiful inside and out, with Indian angels gracing its towers, this cathedral at Plaza San Martin was started in 1577 and took almost 200 years to build.

I was on a tour with a local guide and a group of Spanish speaking tourists. The artwork, historical context and architecture are superb.

Not as ornate from the outside as some, but absolutely gorgeous inside! Amazing! A must see. The alcove areas with the Saints were exquisite. Located right of the plaza.
