This place was great. It wasn't cheap but they had very generous tasting portions. The building itself is awesome. a must-go for any winery tour.

We arrived at the start of the day on the understanding that the tour was every half an hour. We were then told that the English language tour had just left and the next one was in an hour. In hindsight we should have gone to another bodega while waiting but we didn't want to miss the next tour, and... More

I'll start by saying we love Rutini wine. But the service when we went was so poor I would recommend skipping this spot. We waited for 15 min to have a tasting only to be told they had an event and could not serve us. Their inept way of handling customers is sad because they have very nice wine. But... More

We had 12:00 reservation for an English tour of the museum & winery, for which we had to wait 20 min for the tour guide to show up. The guide seemed disinterested and going through the motions, giving us the basics. The museum and the tour were interesting enough, but when we got to the wine tasting, we were given... More

We spent a couple of hours at La Rural during our time in the Mendoza area. The tour of the vineyard was a typical affair- barrels, vats, etc. The wine museum on the property was, for me, far more interesting. I would have appreciated being able to try some more of their wines than the two offered.

We started our day biking to La Rural but was disappointed with their lack of customer service. There were 3 people at the front desk but none of them greeted us. When I asked what services they offer, the man only said you can buy bottles or wine by the glass. Nothing else. Horrible attitude. Don't bother going.

The museum is the main attraction at this place not the wine tasting. For being such a lovely wine I would have enjoyed a more intimate wine tasting. The museum was full of artifacts of interest on how wine was produced, transported and bottled back in the day. It was nice that the entrance fee could be used towards purchases... More

We did not plan on visiting this location due to all the negative reviews. Chance made it happen anyway and it was well worth the trip. The museum is worth the time, there is no cost. It is laden with implements from the long history of the the bodega. Unlike the negative reviewers we were willing to pay for our... More

The attraction of Bodega La Rural is the museum. It is interesting; they have collected a lot of implements of wine making in the Mendoza region and display them with some care. Our guide wasn't particularly skilled, but I assume that others are better. The museum distinguishes La Rural from other wineries in the area. Alas, what also distinguishes Bodega... More
