Our last stop on the wine tour day was in Trapiche. Beautiful place but hard to find! Especially after some glasses of wine. We showed up 20 min and they made a big effort so we still could join a part of the tour. And most important we made it for the tasting. The wine is very very good, nice... More

We had a visit around the Winery which was incredible, the people are very friendly and enthusiastic in telling the story of this incredible place. The food was excellent, the chef comes to the table to explain how they make everything, they grow everything they serve, make their bread. We had an amazing time!

Great tour of Trapiche. You have to book it in advance but the guys at Maipu Bikes set it up for us. Property is big and gorgeous. The tasting was ample and could even go for seconds on a few wines.

We enjoyed a nice tour around this place followed by a tasting of 3 wines. It costs 150 pesos each and must be booked in advance. English tours were at 11am & 3pm the day we visited and when we hired our bikes at Maipu Bikes they rang to book us a spot. It's the biggest winery in town but... More

Trapiche is a very large company and this is supposed to be their welcoming the public bodega. Except they don't welcome visitor's (for lunch)without a reservation, how you get a reservation is unclear, I tried ringing - they didn't answer. A tasting is also not straight forward, the tour times are not on their website and they don't seem to... More

Trapiche is one of the oldest vineyard in Mendoza region. The tour guide gave a very thorough guide to the history of the vineyard and some of the old equipment that is still working but not use. Took us to the fermentation area where some cement wall was used aside from tank.French and American oak barrels are being used for... More

This winery was located in an older winery that has been restored for modern use. The history and displays of equipment used in days gone by is worth visit. Again only three wines offered for tasting. The wine that was recently listed in Wine Separators Top 100 was unavailable for tasting. Nice property.

I can't drink wine because I am under age but it was still awesome history and architecture. My parents seemed they like the wine. The tour guide was full of useful and interesting facts and history. Highly recommend it.

The old buildings having been built in an Italianette style by a previous vintner in 1912 and remain an impressive sight. Trapiche, already founded elsewhere bought the property, it having been derelict since 1970. It all pretty much remains however - including a sad nod to the old railway which came right to the door. Excellent guide and leisurely tasting... More

My wife, a friend we met travelling, and I went here for the wine tour and lunch on a Sunday (one of the only vineyards open on weekends). The experience significantly exceeded our expectations. Firstly we were a slightly difficult group in that two of us wanted the degustation menu, and my wife was going to go A La Carte.... More
