It's definitely worth to go there. I recommend going in the morning. Later in the day you might get clouds and won't see Aconcagua. It was really nice to take a hike and admire the mountains.

My wife and I spent a wonderfully clear day hiking the trails around the Visitor Center. Fabulous views and landscape. A great day trip out of Mendoza through Trout and Wines Tours.

It's an easy hike, but a long ride! Not much else to do out there that would be entertaining for a toddler.
