The views are unique and imponent. It's nature and mountains in full splendour. The peaks, the wilderness, the rocks and the deep blue sky were literally a breath-taking experience. It's a must-do.

The Aconcagua Provincial Park is magic, a real must. If you go to Mendoza hire a driver, visit " Puente del Inca" and the Aconcagua Park, you won't regret it. These places are quite high up, so be aware that some altitude sickness may occur.

Booked a tour of the park with Trout and Wine tour group in Mendoza. Went during the winter season, so we dressed warm and did a 3 mile (about) hike inside the park. Great views of the mountain. Stopped at Punta Inca village and Upsallata...More

This place is one of the most beautiful of Mendoza. If you are lazy about walking, dont be , because it worthwhile every step inside Aconcagua park. In 2 hours walking you reach the river and the view breathtaking!

Hi zepned44, I am interested in a day trip from Santiago to Parque Provincial Aconcagua by car. But I heart that the border crossing between Chile and Argentina can be miserable. So how was the border crossing during your trip? I see on the map that the Argentine border office for people going from Chile to Argentina is in Hostería Puente del Inca, which is not on the way from Santiago to the Parque. Does that mean you did not need to go across the border check on your way? And how about the way back? You will definitely need to go through Chilean border office on the way back Santiago, but is there an Argentine border office on the way from Parque to Santiago? I don't have experience crossing border by car so I need some information for my preparation. Highly Appreciate!

I've never crossed the border there but in my experience, if all your papers are in order it shouldn't be that big of a deal. The drive from Mendoza to the border (passing Aconcagua park, Christ the Redeemer, etc) is... More

My husband and I with our son (who will be 16 months) are planning to visit Mendoza for a destination wedding in April 2017 and would like to know is this location family friendly? We are not looking to hike mountain but to be able to experience some of the views with a walking 16 month old. Thanks Jackie

It's an easy hike, but a long ride! Not much else to do out there that would be entertaining for a toddler.
