Not great but if you are in the centre of Mendoza you can walk around. Also the area, very central, is nice

This square might be the least used, but we love it. The squares and the tree-lined streets of old Mendoza are so appealing! The planners of the adjacent Carrefour supermarket wisely placed their big backside facing the square, so that the commercial hub-bub does not impact the cool and quiet atmosphere.

Visited while on our honeymoon, a nice little green dot quite central in Mendoza. Slightly less than Plaza Espana, but a very nice square to hang out, with nice trees and the fountain in the center.

This was the last of the plazas that I visited. They are all well kept up. This one has a statue to the liberators of Chile. There is also a nice fountain.

Nice park for little children to play in. Not much else going on in this park besides benches with shade to sit and relax

I'll rate this park and then I'm done rating Mendoza parks or I would be on my computer another 2 hours. This park was the first one I wandered into because it's directly across from my hotel... the El Portal Suites (see that review)..ALL parks in Mendoza are beautiful!!!!!!!

There are four small parks around Plaza Independencia, they are located at the same distance and of the same size, but this one is probably the least attractive out of four. You should probably try the other siblings instead.

It is a very pleasant place to relax with interesting monuments, benches to sit, areas to relax and for children to play. It seemed safe and we enjoyed it in spite of some signs of vandalism . It is one of the four main plazas of Mendoza.
