If anywhere near the area ... definitely make a stop to see this dam. The scenery is amazing. I believe there's white water rafting nearby ... however we didn't have the time.
So it was good to go for the view of both the lake and the Andes, and if you like rafting or canoeing then great you should go. If not.. there isn’t much else we found.
Driving up form Mendoza to the ridges of the Andes takes you past this important dam that controls the waters to the high desert valley surrounding Mendoza.
