Very nice place, you can feel so much peace! You need at least two hours to do all the activities in the park.

A must see !!! Spectacular scenery!!! A bit far from San Luis City. Rent a car to get there no gas station in between only a lil. convenience store. There are 2 guided tours, both worth it! 200 for the short one (2 hour hike) and 300 for the long one (4hour hike). The park fee is 70 per person.... More

I haven't been visiting a few national parks over the last couple of years in Argentina. This one reminded me a bit of Parque Talampaya in San Juan province. I visited the park on a rainy day in May 2016. The park entrance was free (I think because we came in off season) and the paths were a bit muddy.... More

We visited the park in May 2016 and were fortunate to go on a clear and sunny day. We travelled via public bus: they leave from the Omnibus Terminal around 8am and you can buy a ticket on the same morning. The buses are heading for San Juan so let the driver know that you are going to the park... More

So I went to a great amount of effort to come here (night bus from Córdoba to San Luis and then a bus from there the next day to Mendoza). So it was specifically for this park. I got the last morning bus (100 pesos) at 8.05 ( the buses that go to San Juan leave in the morning so... More

Wow- ok not a lot of info on this so here goes..., Advice drive yourself as its in middle of nowhere. You can however get a bus there but from the information centre you will still have a good walk to the start of the walks. It will cost you $120 pecos each to enter the park. Don't drink water... Beautiful and unique place, definitely worth the hassle. I think I was there at the best time since the park gets incredibly hot in summer, even now (July) it was pretty warm. I was lucky enough to run into travelers with a car who could take me there, otherwise it seems a bit tricky. I took the longest guided tour... More

I've been living in Mendoza the past four months, and have been struggling to find nearby outdoor adventure things that I wouldn't have to pay a tour company to do. Yes, rafting is fun, but I like making my own adventure. And you can do that in all of the National Parks of Argentina! Sierra de las Quijadas was incredible,... More

Of all my travels, this place is by far the hardest to find any information on, so I want to do my part to change that. First off, position yourself either in San Luis (1.5 hours) or San Juan (I think 2.5). Joining a tour in either city is probably the best case scenario, but from what my hostel's staff... More
