This wonder of nature permits the observation of one of the most unique landscapes in the World; constituted by the upper Iguazu River and the Subtropical Forest, which frame the incredible Devil's Throat balcony. Three ring-shaped balconies permit a special view of the colossal “throat”, the culmination of the journey: a giant horseshoe-shaped waterfall 150 meters / 492 feet long, and 80 meters / 262 feet high. Here the water falls with such potency that it creates dense clouds of vapor as it pours into the river below. From here you can experience such wonderful sensations, offering you amazing and unforgettable moments:- Just listening to the roar of the waterfalls - Feeling the vapor of waterfalls- Appreciating the rainbows that form amongst the clouds of water and rays of the sun - Admiring the contrasts of colors between the green forest and the blue sky, or the white color of the water foam and the red soil. - A separate spectacle is offered by the “vencejos” - birds unique to the Iguazu Falls that swoop down along the falls, as if they wanted to be confused with the curtains of water. This fabulous place is located 2080 m / 1 mile from the Devil's Station. You arrive by the Ecological Jungle Train, 5 km / 3miles from the Central Station. The Iguazu National Park Waterfalls Area has assorted activities. Along the upper and lower walkways you will be able to admire between 160 and 275 falls, the Devil's Throat being the most impressive one.

Don't miss this viewpoint in the park, where you stand right above the huge waterfall. It is fascinating to watch.

Most impressive on the Argentinian side. It seems to appear out of no where. I thought, yeah sure, it'll be ok. I was dazzled. Amazing!

all the walking we had to do, didnt matter at all when we arrived to this view. We could feel the force of the waterfall, a view that cant be explained, you have to be there.

we walked 8km along walkways, with railing, to see the amazing falls from the Argentina side. The noise is constant and loud when beside any of the falls, but between it can be so peaceful and calm.....I wouldn't have missed it for the world

Some other views might be better, but this is very much a must. It's very very crowded though. Not an empty space around. You will have to squeeze in to get your pictures. And while some may offer a better view, you must make it...More

We bathe and bathe a lot, but it's worth it. Beautiful to see, you are immersed in the steam of the waterfall itself. More difficult to photograph (I suggest you a waterproof camera), but the real experience is to be there! Do not miss it!

This year there was plenty of water on the falls. Had a really great time with the family, both on Argentinian and Brazilian sides.

During the high season, it is a crowded walk to the garganta, but well worth the amazing view. Take water to drink and protection against the spray. Take care when photographing with your camera.

Garganta Del Diablo (The Devil's Throat) is located within Iguazu National Park in Misiones province, Argentina. Most resorts offer some kind of accommodation to the park for which you pay about $250 pesos. I guess it depends on the distance. If you aren't an Argentinian...More

You will need to get a Brazilian Visa before you leave the US in order to cross the border. They cost $160 and are good for multiple entries for 10 years.
