You can walk up or take the cable car, either way it is a must visit during your stay in Salta, especially on a clear day.

You can see the whole city of Salta from above, there is a "teleférico" that gives you a whole trip over the city! Excellent!

If you are on Salta you have to visit the Cerro San Bernardo has the best sight seeing and views of almost all Salta, very nice attraction.
