You can take the cable car up where you will find little stalls and gardens. You can walk down (which is what I did and it's not too hard) or take the cable car back down. Either way it's well worth taking the time to...More

Behind the statue is a 45 minute trail up to the top of cerro san Bernardo. Lots of places to stop and rest along the way. At the top there is a great lookout space, cafe, crafts for sale, etc. I would recommend walking up...More

You can get there walking (more than1000 steps), by car or by the cable car while you go seeing the city. At the top you can give a round to watch the incredible views and buy some good handcrafts, as llama or alpaca wool knittings...More

You can walk up or take the cable car, either way it is a must visit during your stay in Salta, especially on a clear day.

You can see the whole city of Salta from above, there is a "teleférico" that gives you a whole trip over the city! Excellent!
