The best thing about this exhibition is that it was free. There was a photo exhibition when we visited. It consisted of 20 small portrait photos taken of semi-famous Argentinia people. It was all shown in the one small room that the museum has. Leaving...More

I visited this museum without planning to and it was well worth it. The exhibit was small (one large room), but it was free and on the main plaza, so easy enough to get to.

The MAC in Salta is tiny--it only holds 2 or 3 exhibits at a time. But we saw a great exhibit by a contemporary woman artist, and it's free and on the main plaza so you can't go wrong.

I'm not really into contempory art, but I did enjoy walking round the galleries. There was an interesting photographic display upstairs showing immegrants coming to Argentine. Unlike anothere recent visitor we were not asked for an entry fee.
