Impressive sightseen

I was able to see it while on a Lacar lake ride. It is a must for panoramic pictures. Departed from San Martin de los Andes towards Chachin falls.

Very long drive only to get to the other side of the same (beautiful!) lake. And it costs money... I would just go to any other part of the lake :)

Nice quick boat trip. Especially the view on the massive rock right east of the beach is fascinating due to the rocks structural formation. However nothing to exciting. The beach offers refreshments which are alright.

We took a boat from San Martin de los Andes to Quila Quina, and honestly it was just OK Views from the boat were wonderful, and even if the boat itself was old the ride was enjoyable. We arrived to a nice wooden deck and then proceed to explore the beach and surrounding areas (it took us 15 minutes really)... More

near the town of San Martin de los Andes there is a beach called Quila Quina which is a National Park. It not accessible without car. the ride is on dirt road on mountain side. take about 30 min to get there. The site is nice and the views are beautiful. I wouldn't go there again...as it is not that... More

This is probably a great place to better enjoy either during spring or summer rather than in June when I visited it. The most remarkable aspect in this time of the year is the peace you can find in this beach and the outstanding view of the Cerro Abanico. It is interesting to get a flavor of how a Mapuche... More

A 40 minute ferry brings us to playa Quila Quina. The ferry does not sail every hour, you have to inquire at the office in the harbour of San Martin de los Andes. The boattrip itself is the best part of our visit, the beach is not very interesting. If you want to walk a kilometre to see the waterfall,... More

They didn't mention it at the tourist info but if you are foreigner you have to pay ARS 65 per person to go to this little lake beach... And 10 more to see the little waterfall... And because you just did 15km of dirt road, you pay... To see almost nothing. It looks like hundreds of other beaches in the... More

I felt like if I was in a motion picture! The landscape of the forest of the Andes is amazing!. The beach on the Lake Lacar has clear water. Great and paceful place to have a good time with friends and family
