It's worth taking the trouble to divert off the main road into Villa La Angostura if you can find the road in. As a number of reviewers have said there are no signs and the access is not obvious. From the north the entrance to...More

Incredibly clean & pure rushing river of snow melt, takes on a green blue hue from the abundance of oxygen. Winds it way through a magical landscape.

It's worth your while stopping at Rio Correntoso, the smallest river in the world, for a look. It's more tranquil than you'd expect looking at it from the road above. Lots of fat trout in the water below. Best way to get there is to...More

The walking bridge over Rio Correntoso can be accessed from the road about 100 meters before the car bridge on the City Side. It is a cute view and standing on the bridge you can see the fish swimming by in the crystal clear water....More

Only a few kms away from town, this short river offers nice views of the lake and surrounding forests. The color of the water is just amazingly green. You can cross the bridge and then walk the shore. Go early to avoid lots of people

This place can be hard to get to if you don't know where to turn off the main road. There is a parallel road going down the coast of Nahuel Huapi on the city side of the car bridge. Moreover, it's a nice place to...More

Quiet, relaxing, and neat to find out it is the world's shortest river. We took pictures from above and below, walked over the bridge and enjoyed seeing just how clear and clean the river is.
