Friends brought us up here to see the view. You'll need to order ahead for tickets as it is quite popular to visit at any time of year when the weather is nice. As with most things in Argentina, ticket prices are no bargain. The...More

This is supposed to be the best ski site in South America i was told. Although there is no snow in summer, it is a great place for hiking too. We took the cable car and then chairlift up and hiked further up. Depending on...More

Pistes were in great condition for the last week of the season. Icy and hard early in the morning. Only about 6 lifts open but enough to keep 2 advanced skiiers happy for a day. Panoramico piste offers amazing views, so that's not really about...More

If you like to ski or have snow fun, Catedral is the place. For a South American snow resort it is very well equipped, with all levels slopes, School for Kids and Adults. Good structure for both Skiing and Snowboard.

This is a very good ski center. The only albeit is the base; it got little to no snow. Now, once you are up there, don't bother to go down. You have great restaurants up there. You can have good plate of pasta and a...More

Cerro Catedral is the closest as well as the most known (and overrun by Brazilian tourist) of the mountains near SCB. But its a beautiful trip and can be reached by public buses. The restaurants at the base station are already expensive, so prepare your...More

While the lifts are a little old and slow, the sheer size of the skiing area absolutely makes up for it. Add to that the fantastic Refugio's on the mountain with table service, it doesn't get any better.

Cerro Catedral is the best ski center in south america. Lots of media to get to the top, good attention, good snow!

It's a great place for skiing but you need to be careful with the snowing seasons. In august there tends to be little snow in the base so you cannot ski there, and most of the children attractions in the base are closed.
