The Cerro Leones Cavernas is an awesome contrast to the lush green and blue backdrop that is Bariloche. Our guide Miguel was knowledgeable, funny, and passionate about these historic mountains/caves, which made us enthusiastic about the experience. Highly recommend it!

A nice cave very near to Bariloche. It's a pity that the guide didn't speak english at all. Awesome view from the top.The trick is take pictures with flash and the paintings will shown better.

If you go on a group tour you can have it in English, otherwise the tour is just in Spanish. I'm sure it's a great tour if you speak Spanish but otherwise no point going

Cavernas del Viejo Volcan Parque Cerro Leones promised us a bilingual guided tour. The guide had limited English skills, especially when explaining the history and geography of the area. Explanations in Spanish that took three or four minutes were reduced to a few words of English. The site is not particularly impressive, the limited pictographs are almost not visible. The... More

The guide, Sebastian, was a fountain of knowledge and was a delightful young man. If you get the opportunity, it is well worth it!

This is an attraction about 25kms from Bariloche. It involves a short climb and a visit go several caverns which have been used for 8000 years as shelters for ancient man. A guide is obligatory and we had a nice guide who was very knowledgeable about geology and the formations in and around Bariloche. It was very interesting and the caves... More

My boyfriend and I took the local bus to Cerro Leones. Once there the staff were friendly and the tour guide took us up to the caves. He spoke good english and was able to give us plenty of information regarding the history of the caves. The views were beautiful especially as you can climb to the top. Overall its... More
