Neat little church

This is a neat building totally worth visiting while in Bariloche. The park that surrounds the church is great for picnics.

We arrived at this beautiful cathedral just as the huge doors were being closed, yet we were allowed entry for "just five minutes." It's a beautiful place. Many lingerers maintained a sense of calmness and quietness while walking the aisles and viewing the treasures. Allow about half an hour to really appreciate all this cathedral has to offer.

We have just came from a exhilarating experience in Bariloche. The best ski resort I have ever enjoyed . Everyone in the family had a lot of fun. The ski area has several stations up there at 6,000 you can have a beer with a fantastic view. We had a tour at Bariloche and its surroundings, I have not seen... More

The building is beautiful from the outside but was not open to visit inside. Within walking distance from the center of town.

The best things in life are free. You cannot miss this church if you are either driving through, or stopping for an extended stay in San Carlos Bariloche. It stands above almost all else in the community and they have done a fantastic job taking care of this architectural piece of art. Its free and a must see.

The Catedral de San Carlos de Bariloche is a must see when in Bariloche. Entrance is by donation and it has some very beautiful and controversial stained glass windows depicting the native Mapuche killing the priests that came to Christianize the people. An interesting cathedral to visit and the setting could not be more beautiful right along Lake Nahuel Huapi.... More
