From Estancia Cristina we went by 4x4 car to a place so close to Upsala. From a short distance (10-15min) walking you can see Upsala, from the top of the hill. We went in the end of spring, the glacier was little than usually but...More

The boat ride through the Rios de Hielo was wonderful. The ice sculptures left over from 500 years ago are incredible in size and beauty. Because the Upsala Glacier is receding, we were not able to get too close to it in order to protect...More

Take this tour to navigate Lago Argentino and get close to the Upsala and Spegazzini glaciers. The Upsala, for safety reasons, is to be seen from far away, but still beautiful. You get closer to the front of the Spegazzini, smaller than Perito, but rather...More

Quite a long boat trip to see something more accessible elsewhere. The colours are stunning. Perhaps avoid El Calafate.

started the boat ride right in time for the sunrise. the scenery is magic. a combination of water, ice and mountains. spectacular. and you get to find out the truth about how bad the situation is regarding the melting glacier - which is shocking!

Completely different to Perito Moreno. If you see the pictures taken 70 years ago and today you'll see how much ice has gone, but it's truly awe inspiring. The 4x4 drive there is also amazing, just about every colour you can imagine in the rocks,...More

We booked the upsala and spezzini channel boat trip through trip advisor at a cost of £151 each. We were told by email we'd be picked up at 7 a.m. And weren't collected until 8.50 and really bad customer service to try to speak to...More

We booked our trip with our local Travel Agent here in South Africa and were well looked after. I believe the company was caller Buquebus or something like that - same as report above. They were absolutely great.
