We loved this trip!

We went in the morning, lighting was good with slight cloud cover making it easier to photograph landscapes and wildlife.

Great views of the Andes both Chile and Argentina, sea birds, penguins, seals, and more. Bundle up. Bring binoculars or camera with telephoto lens.

We took a catamaran back to the harbor from the park and they spent a lot of time around the lighthouse. Cold and windy area.

Probably one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world. The islands around the bay are covered with wildlife; seals, and birds. The amazing Andes mountains make a remarkable backdrop for all the photos.

My wife and I visited here as part of our holiday and our hotel room overlooked the bay - what an amazing view. There were cruise ships waiting to leave for the Antarctic and cargo ships sailing off to wherever - it was lovely just to sit and watch the activity in the bay. We did take a boat trip... More

This bay is where the cruise and cargo ships dock. It is fun to watch the big ships. If out on the water, it provides nice views of the city on one side and mountains on the other.

We took a Rumbo Sur catamaran tour of Ushuaia Bay from our Princess cruise ship. The bay, the surrounding Andes Mountains, the wildlife, the lighthouse were all spectacular. Don't miss taking a tour if you find yourself in Ushuaia.

Sailing to Antartica and getting along side this point really mean something. Hundreds of tallships found their end in this sea and the story goed that all the seagulls over here are still the wandering sailors from the last centuries looking for their rest at lands end. The lighthouse might be unique, and the memorial a nice one, although the... More

What a treat entering Ushuaia Bay on a proper mid-size cruise ship sitting front window-side at the top front lounge! The scenery on a gorgeous day is spectacular. In addition to the above title factors I enjoyed photographing the private sallboat entering the harbor on our starboard side and the ever-present aerobatics of both native waterbirds and the numerous sight-seeing...
