This is worth the hike....what a sight to see. I saw many waterfalls in Ecuador but this was the highlight. Be sure to cross the bridge and get photos.

One of the best attractions in the area round Banos. You will need at least 3 hours to explore both sides of the waterfall.

Enjoyed the view, very touristy but beautiful. We went with a tour but you don't have to do that it cost two dollars per adult

The walk down to the waterfall is not demanding - and anyway is well worth any effort. The waterfalls are quite dramatic

A must visit when around. The falls are epic. Bonus is that you can crawl behind the fall and thus have a 360 degree view from all angles

Sorry for not answering about tickets. To enter this waterfall you should buy your tickets at the very entrance. For the kid there's a 50% discount

It's fresh water and it falls at a very high flow rate, I'd keeping my equipment at least 20 feet away and it's gotta be waterproof.

Yes that is very possible you need around 4-5 hours. You get the truck back at the end which takes about 15mins. The bike ride was 2 hours and the walk an hour. If you want to stop and do the activities along the way it will... More
