This is an enormous waterfall. It is set in the middle of a rainforest and just off the road that crosses the island.

The falls are very high up - but you are at quite a distance to see them. You have to stand on the viewing bars to see the bottom - but the scenery is amazing

It's really foggy up in the mountains, and was a little drizzly when we got there, but it was a lovely first stop on our multi-stop tour of Apia.

Luckily this waterfall is off the side of the road so you don't have to pay to see it. While it is lovely to look at I wouldn't say it's a "must see" unless you were planning on hiking to the bottom (which we didn't...More

Stopped here to have a look, as suggested in travel brochures. On the road from Apia to the southern coast, on the southern side. Not particularly well signposted (we missed on the way over to Apia). Very high falls, which we can imagine are impressive...More

Amazing that you can see from such a distance away and there's such a deep valley below. Our driver took us in to this place where there is a small entrance fee.

I found all of Samoa lovely, laid back and friendly. These falls are magnificent for swimming in the river below or just taking in the view and peaceful atmosphere. A great place to meditate

Interestingly, there are two waterfalls on the cross Island roads. This one is drive up and view or you can walk to the top of the falls if you have someone who can show you. If you are a total adventurer nutto you can... More
