Absolutely loved this place! Steps are very steep and I had to have 2 shots at getting down them with my pounding heart but once at the bottom it was magical. Such a tranquil spot and a really beautiful place to stop. Water is cold but nice and refreshing from the heat. Supervise children very well.

This place boasts of beautiful ocean views! very tidy setup well maintained. Dont recommend if you have young children. the stairwell down to the lagoon is quite dangerous. doesnt have hand rails.

A must see when in samoa. The water is alot colder which comes as a surpise as the ocean is so warm. beautiful though after a sweaty trek to the Trench.

On a tour of the East Coast we stopped at the To Sua Ocean Trench. This is a must see for travelers to the area. Bring along your swimming attire, sunscreen, and googles if you'd like to look at the fish that make the trench their home. You will need to be able to climb down a long ladder to... More

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Samoa! The trench is very relaxing and calming. The surrounding gardens and coast line is also spectacular! Would definitely go back

Very unique, beautiful spot. Not difficult to climb down & up the ladder ( I am a 49 yr old female) worth it for the refreshing swim! Went as part of a tour - had a wonderful guide who helped us to dive under from the shadowy side of the trench down and through the underwater tunnel to the cave by... More

This is an amazing place! You have to be fit to climb down the ladder and swim in the clear pool at the bottom. Beautful gardens at To Sua and lovely coastal views. We walked to Vavau Beach afterwards for a swim.

Make a day of it at the Trench. Beautiful setting, and a great place to have a picnic, enjoy the ladder into the trench (for those inclined), take a fishing rod to practice casting, have a snooze in one of the fale dotted around the grounds.
