The owners so very nice. You should go and see this incredible place and enjoy fishing. The layout is very beautiful and plenty of green grass and nice trees to sit under.

While my kids are older now, they always insist on visiting the fish hatchery. It's easy to get to, doesn't take a lot of time, and is free to everyone.

This is a self guided tour of a state run fish hatchery. One can see the fish in various stages depending on the tanks one sees and as you walk to the top of the hill there is a large indoor exhibit

This is a fun place to stretch your legs from your travels and see an interesting fish farm. Lots of trout to see. Bring some quarters and watch the fish go crazy over food pellets.

If you have NEVER seen a fish hatchery, then this may be worth a stop. However, we learned nothing new here and didn't stay long.

We drove through the Hatchery on a day that was not open. We were able to see the ponds and get an idea of what the hatchery did. Hope to go back when it is open.

friendly worker answered our questions...loved looking at the tanks full of "sized" trout. Beautiful visit to Tonto Creek right below the fish hatchery

The hatchery is a quick and scenic drive off the highway, and a fun little excursion for the kids. They had so much fun feeding the fish. Also, keep an eye out for bald eagles in the treetops.
