Our day started by meeting in the lobby of the lodge. We boarded the bus and drove for an hour thru the canyon to the Colorado River. The only drawback was the speaker system on the bus did not work so we missed a little of the drivers talk. Once at the river we met our boat drivers, Robert &... More

We traveled with our teenage children for a week at the Grand Canyon and the one day white water rafting was a great way to end our vacation. We felt the hualapai dedication to service at all levels. We stayed the night at the Hualapai Lodge which made the morning of the trip easier. The ride to the river on... More

We're so happy to hear that you and your family had a great time. It's great you were able to enjoy it despite knee issues. There are a lot of ways to see the Grand Canyon and the rafting trip you took is an unforgettable experience. Thanks for visiting and for your review. More

My 2 college aged children and I were on Melissa's raft for the one day white water rafting. We drove to Peach Springs, parked in front of the Lodge, had breakfast at the restaurant (cactus syrup on the hotcakes), and checked in for the day. A bus took us on a bumpy (not paved) road down to the Colorado River.... More

From the person behind the counter to the bus driver to the river guides, the people were great. They were very personable and helpful. Their stories of the history of the area were interesting and made the trip even better. The river guides knew the water well and gave us a great ride on nature's roller coaster. The helicopter lift... More

Our thanks to those involved with this well run, exhuberant, cheerful adventure. Our grandchildren (8 and 13) loved it, and we loved seeing their enjoyment, even if it meant getting splashed with walls of water! Well done, Hualapai River Runners!

We flew down to the Colorado river by helicopter, it was a steep walk down to the river, our guide on the trip was very knowledgeable and informative. A great experience

A long day but well worth it. If you don't want to get wet then don't do it, it's white water rafting. We get picked up promptly from our hotel and taken to breakfast which I happily slept through as it was still early. Our driver is a vet' so he was interesting to talk to, it's a long drive... More

Although because of limited dates for trip taken offered on this site It's actually been several years since we took this trip but it's at the top of our list for great fun. The guides were wonderful and seeing the canyon from river level is unmatched.
