Simply fabulous. It's a one of a kind museum dedicated to musical instruments. There are over 6,000 instruments from 200 countries on display. A one-day pass is $20 for those who are not members of the Museum. I recommend going mid-morning and either ending your...More

A first class museum for everyone ! Kids (especially 10+), adults, teens and seniors that I’ve brought to this museum all loved it. Fantastic exhibits divided by continent from ancient civilizations to classical to rock.

I'm ashamed to admit this, but I'm not what you'd call a music lover. I have my few favorite classic rock bands and enjoy a bit of the blues and classical music here and there. Nevertheless, I went to this museum on the recommendation of...More

Beautiful space near Phoenix showcasing instruments collected from around the world. Most of the exhibits are showcased with audio synced with a portable headset provided upon admission. My family and I visited on a weekday and were rewarded with few crowds in most rooms of...More

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the MIM. It’s huge. Don’t underestimate the time to spend there. We were there for four hours and didn’t see it all. They use headsets that are activated in front of each tv exhibit. So great. We also had...More

we went 3 couples. What a great museum. Staff incredible. exhibits incredible. You have to get the earphones so you can hear the music from all over the world and of different times. That way the videos (plenty) will make sense. We ALL LOVED IT.

My husband and I were advised by a local to visit the Musical Instrument Museum. We didn’t really know what he was selling, but we had a couple of hours to spare en route to Sky Harbor Airport and decided to visit. The entry fee...More

Yes, it’s a decent place to enjoy a show. Personally I like to be down front and center. But anytime I’ve been there I can’t say I’ve had a bad seat.

No dress codes - I'm sure any comfortable shoes are fine. My wife and I typically wear jeans/shorts and I wore sandals.

3 hours is about the time I spent there. It seemed enough if you don’t mind focusing on specific galleries. For music lovers, it may not be enough.
