A very competive golf course with sufficient length to use most clubs. The desert roughs do not overshadow the fairways and their well groomed fairway dividers insure fast play. The club house staff is professional, but on the day I played the club house set up our two threesomes and led us believe that was final. When we got to... More

Course was in good shape especially considering all the play it gets. Greens really fast. I played with 3 siblings from Canada. Very fun people & had much fun with them. Pace was a little slow, but we finished just before dark. Course is a little hard to get to from Scottsdale, but worth it for the price. Has everything:... More

A city of Phoenix course we went on a Thursday afternoon for $15 with a cart! A great deal for a nice course with pretty open fairways. Some greens were being reseeded but they were mostly in good condition. And to that a view of South Mountain and some local wildlife (rabbits and quails not snakes and scorpions) and it... More

Aguila Golf Course is an outstanding value. A challenging golf course, with plenty of character, and maintained throughout the year to keep in very playable condition, even in the hotter summer months. At the price, I'm not sure you can find a better value. Pace of play is usually pretty good too - so all in all, it's a course... More

On our golfing trip to the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, we played the Aguila, a Phoenis municiple course. The course is in the farther south area of Phoenix, and a bit of a drive from where we stayed in Scottsdale - but the highway system gets you there pretty fast. The course is set up against the south mountains, and has four... More

We played this course in December 17, 2014. The course was in generally average condition. The rough was thin and patchy and the fairways were a little better but had some bare spots. The greens looked like they had been treated/aerated recently but rolled true and the speed was good. The staff member were OK . We had a reduced... More

This was a local booking from a friend who likes to play golf on the cheap We paid only $26 with a cart Which was real good value for 4.5 hours of Wack The course just needs a punch up but you get your monies worth at this price

Went after 10am on a Saturday. Not crowded, as most folks seem to like the 18-hole course. We didn't feel rushed. The course is not too challenging, but nicely paced. The view is magnificent. What a great place to practice your game, especially for beginners. And for the more advanced players, a perfect for a nice, quick game just to... More

For our 2014 golf trip to the Phoenix area, one of the guys in the group suggested that we try Aguila as an opening day course. Well, we did not know what to expect from Aguila, having never played there plus the fact that it was a muni course. But we were very pleasantly surprised as it ended up being... More

Great course for price, 9 hole course excellent, friendly and accommodating staff. Basic public course with no caddies or valets. Can be crowded on weekends.
