I love that this park memorializes many groups of people (and even police dogs) giving each one an amazing amount of respect.

While the statutes of military war veterans are very moving, the one I thank most people should see is the one to the NAVAJO CODE TALKERS. Their story is one of the greatest of WWII. One more that is on my list of must see, is the POLICE K9 Memorial. The plaza is not huge and a visit of about... More

Many years ago I visited our state capitol on my birthday. It was the first of many b-days that I decided to go somewhere I had not been before. It was the only time I was ever at the state capitol. Over the years I had heard about the memorials that had been built in this area. I was looking... More

We went here actually to find the Statue of Father Albert Braun, who was a close family friend, but were overwhelmed by this memorial tribute to Arizonans who gave all for their country or community (more than Military Memorial). They even had a memorial to police dogs who served. I think this is one of the best tributes I have... More

The Memorial Plaza is right next to the state Capitol complex. It is a very significant park containing no less than 33 Memorial settings. Walking through this large park is an education all of its own. It is an excellent review of who and what is involved in making our country what America has become. A worthy tour - all... More

We visited this site with a tour guide who was very knowledgeable about every single detail about it. Very touching, well planed and designed and super well maintained.

It's like a mini version of the National Memorial at the U.S. Capital. It's very well laid out with the war & service memorials through out the park. I didn't get to stop at all of them. It's spread out, and we didn't have a whole lot of time to walk to each one of them. The heat can also... More

This was my first visit to the Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza in Phoenix. It covers several acres to the east of the Arizona State Capital Building on West Washington Street. Downtown Phoenix is a few miles farther to the east. There was free parking beside the memorials. I was impressed by the memorial to the USS Arizona, which was sunk... More

There are several Memorials at this location. A lot of love, tears and time and memories here. The Peace Officers, The K-9 The Arizona Memorial to name just a few. You will also see the Viennam Memorial with it's stand walls of names of our lost brothers and the Medal of Honor Reciepiants. Look up and see the Vietnamese Flag... More
