We almost didn't make the short ride from town up to the Lake, but so happy we did. This is a hidden gem of a lake in the mountains above Prescott. Serenity and beauty, nice place for gatherings, etc.

The trails are not too rigorous. Other activities to do besides hiking. Fishing looked to be promising. We visited on a fairly quiet day and found the views serene.

Goldwater Lake is a beautiful park and lake- family friendly. We find it to be peaceful and relaxing. They offer large pavilions for parties as well, but must be reserved.
