As expected, high-end shopping, a lot of duplicate western/Native American Indian jewelry. Way out of price boutiques. Out of range for your average Joe, unless your crazy-vacation shopping.

We shopped 5th Avenue at dusk and loved the lighted streets, fountain circle in the middle of the street, quaint shops and friendly shop owners. This was fun.

Most of the serious art galleries are south of 5th Avenue, an easy walk across Indian School. This is a great restaurant and entertainment area with a very large variety of food types.

We spent a few hours checking this place out. Don't miss the horse statues and fountain. The stores are great. (Awesome sales during hot summer days!) Restaurants galore, too many to choose.

A great place to take visitors. Lots of trinkets, food, galleries and specialty stores. If you continue in a southernly direction, there are even more galleries and shops to explore. Ample free parking and plenty of restaurants to satisfy all palates.

Fifth Avenue NYC this isn't (go to the Mall for department stores) but it's a pleasant place to meander. There are some interesting little boutiques and galleries alongside a large number of touristy gift shops. Nice fountain and statues too. Good free parking available.

As has happened in many, many boutique shopping districts, curios and tourist goods now dominate Fifth Avenue. My friends once arose at 5AM to attend 5th Avenue Thieves Market. Today, the market is gone and huge discount signs are plastered all over shop windows. A...More
