Troon North Golf Club stands as a hallmark of the Scottsdale desert golf...

Troon North Golf Club stands as a hallmark of the Scottsdale desert golf experience with two 18-hole courses stretching through the natural ravines and foothills in the shadows of Pinnacle Peak. Giant granite boulders lie strewn across the rugged landscape of Arizona's Sonoran Desert, where Troon North Golf Club combines iconic golf with the visual sensation of desert landscape, providing a standard unmatched in the American Southwest.

Revered as Scottsdale's crown jewel, the challenge, visual sensation, and special ambiance of Troon North sets the standard by which all other courses are measured. The immaculately groomed fairways, bentgrass greens and exceptional customer service create the renowned Troon Golf Experience. Troon North's Monument and Pinnacle courses consistently rank at the top of every golfer's must-play list. Recent course renovations by original designer and British Open Champion Tom Weiskopf have created two new layouts that bring his original concept to life. Golfers in search of the classic desert golf experience are returning to Troon North Golf Club again and again to enjoy Weiskopf's true vision. Whether you're playing for the first time or a regular at Troon North, these two Scottsdale courses in sunny Arizona offer golf connoisseurs the best in desert golf!

After playing, and being disappointed by,f a course down the street because it hosts an annual PGA event this course was a very pleasant experience. Here we were welcome at the bag drop and through the rest of our day. The pro shop was welcoming and informative. The starter came out to greet us at the range and show us... More

Play the pinnacle course and you will not be disappointed. Arrival and bag drop is seamless, practice range is excellent and the clubhouse is a great facility. The main feature we enjoyed was the picturesque par 3's each one a different but beautiful challenge. Fair to say if you can't hit it 150 yards or more off the tee you... More

We played the Monument course. The course was in decent shape but the play was VERY slow. There was a ranger riding around but didn't appear concerned with the slow play. The staff was just okay. We had lunch in the restaurant and it was not very good. I doubt we would go back as there are other nicer public... More

We searched on Yelp for a place to eat after we climbed Pinnacle Peak. The golf course showed up and we decided to try it. Very relaxed service (a bit slow), but food was very good. Enjoyed their salad and pulled pork. Nice sitting there with a fine view of the golf course. Almost made me want to try the... More

The course was fantastic. Views were tremendous. Pro shop staff very pleasant. But then you get to snack bar downstairs. 8 in am no vodka for bloody Mary's. Cart girl out of everything. The whole mood of staff aside from cart guys and club house was that our group was a chore for them. Totally different vibe at Gray Hawk.

The highs here heavily outweigh the lows of my experience. First- the staff here really work their tails off in season. I played on a Saturday morning around 9 AM. On my arrival, golf bags were everywhere, and team members were busy shuffling bags from the bag drop to the cart staging area. Everything was efficient and all of the... More

Breathtaking views and a well manicured course. This is truly a 5 star course that is challenging and fun. We played Pinnacle and it was the finest course I have played on this 6 week trip to Arizona.

Troon is a great experience for Spring golf. Hard enough to get you angry at times, but a very fair course to play! Beautiful experience. Pace of play was maintained the whole day!!

I'm glad my game is pretty good, cause this is not an easy course to score well on.The fairways are wide and easy to hit. They are also as fast as a green so you get a lot of roll. The greens, however are tricked up with elevation, turtlebacks, elevated bunkers near the greens give a narrow path. Each hole... More

From drop off to pick up of clubs, this course is top shelf! I loved my round here, scenic, challenging, well maintained, great staff, good food, no inflated prices, drinking water on course, beautiful homes, wildlife (bobcats, birds, rabbits) and no extra charges incurred for practice facilities.
