If you are staying at the Westin and enjoy golf, this is a fun place to play that is fairly forgiving. The course has 3 nines and i would recommend playing Acacia the nine that finishes by the resort. Great pics and some nice holes on that nine. Mesquite was ok, but not great. I would probably check out Ironwood... More

Three 9 hole courses make up this club. We played Mesquite and Ironwood. Beautiful scenery, relatively forgiving play and the added benefit of being able to go out on a golf board if they aren't already booked up. Another level of fun added to the game, but it's a bit pricey. Also, they don't have very many so you need... More

My husband and I stayed at the Westin Kierland for a week and purchased the 5 day golf package which is a great value (unlimited golf, VIP treatment, pro shop discounts, one free clinic, etc.). While we were there, we attended a full swing clinic with James Swantko which was great. There were five or six of us, and James... More

Today I had the pleasure for playing Ironwood and Acacia and what a great day. The courses were in good condition for the time of year. First time on Acacia and to a beautiful track. The greens were true and putted well. Most enjoyable days golf. The staff are great, service was impeccable and it made the day that much... More

This is the most scenic of the three courses at Kierland, and therefore my favorite. Very forgiving and therefore a good course to warm up for some of the more challenging courses in the area.

My husband and I recently played this course and it was in great shape and quite picturesque. However, the pace of play was terrible. It took us over 5.5 hours to play 18 holes, we waited every hole teeing off and on the course for long periods of time, couldn't get any momentum at all. We spoke with the Marshall... More

But nothing really special. Try to play the Acacia and Mesquite nine holes. They are the better of the nines. Courses are perfectly maintained. But fairly wide open. Courses are pretty flat except for the Acacia 9.

I played this course twice and the last time played 9 holes and I shot the best score of my live a 44. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The carts had GPS and drove well. The course was in pristine condition. It is a great course for the different levels of golfers.

Played Kierland Golf Club which is adjacent to a Westin resort. Down the street from TPC Scottsdale. The course is lush in the middle of a desert. Fairways were like putting greens with nary a weed found. Open fairways with a choice/combination of playing 2 of 3 nine hole layouts. Golf course personnel very polite and welcoming. Highly recommended course.

A true resort course play early to avoid inexperienced or group outings. Expected time to play is 4:22.Wide fairways and greens are not slow at all. Excellent practice area and best teaching pro around in Tyler Haynes.
