The Simple Farm is our home and farm. We are a working farm and know folks love to see how one operates. Therefore, we open our gates just one morning a week for a few hours. It's the best we can can with our very full farm schedule. Hope you can visit on a Thursday morning from 9-11:30 am. We have a lovely farm couture style Farm Shop with baskets of our our award winning goat milk caramels and often little bundles of fresh picked herbs and flowers. We also curate a small selection of hand made gifts by women. Keep in mind, we close our home/farm to the public sometime mid-June and reopen sometime mid-October.

We grow for Farm Members - those that pay up front (often 8-10 weeks) for vegetables, fruit, herbs and sometimes fresh eggs. When we are able to harvest extra, those little extras will be available inside our farm shop. Best to arrive by 9 am for the selection.

There are little tables and chairs in our Gathering Garden where you can enjoy something sweet from Pickett Fence Pastries and $3 cup of coffee. Often our little herd of Nubian dairy goats are hanging around and in spring time we always have a few little babies.

My husband and I had an incredible opportunity to enjoy an evening dinner on the farm. Michael and Lylah greeted their guests and gave a tour of the farm. We sat around a long dinner table and were served by the incredible staff at the Scottsdale Resort an incredible meal. Chef Rick is incredible! The company was delightful and the... More

Love the Simple Farm! What a fun concept growing in the middle of suburbia Scottsdale. The owners are a kind and gracious couple who mingle amongst their guests welcoming you to their farm. The French market is like an Anthropology meets farmers market. Beautiful! Great place to buy organic greens for your dinner. Baby goats, coffee, chickens, yummy pastries, gift... More

Simply put, The Simple Farm changed the way I feed my family. Since years of San Francisco and Berkeley living, I was always intrigued to eat seasonally but raised in a suburban dessert amidst grocery store chains, I didn't know where to start. I can't even remember how long I've been part of the Simple Farm CSA now, but for... More

I have visited the Simple farm three times in the past four months. Once with my daughter and daughter in law, once by myself and the third time was a very special visit with my daughter. We are from Toronto and my adult daughter is an animal lover. When we learned there would be babies sometime in March, we checked... More

Let's just tell it like it is. If you are not a privileged member of their very small Community-supported Agriculture (CSA) you may be out of luck during their extremely regimented and limited "farm hours" on Thursday mornings. The two times I visited I only had a choice of a few items of produce while I longingly looked into the... More

Dear Allie As I responded to you yesterday, I am inviting you to have coffee with me to get understanding of all the concerns you have. We just hate it that you left unsatisfied. It is so important to us that every customer feels satisfied and happy with their purchases and it's also important that you understand clearly how our... More

I came to the simple farm because I run a gifting business and I was looking for local, thoughtfully crafted goodies to put into my crates. I had heard from others in the creative community about this urban farm in Scottsdale and the incredible small batch goat milk caramels they make. Goat milk caramels was enough to motivate my 40... While unlike the most recent reviewer, I am a CSA member and have been for almost 2 years, as I live near the Farm and it is a great way for my kids to learn about crops and farming. And that is just it, it is a community farm which, the owners, Michael and Lylah, graciously open to the public... More

I just love visiting The Simple Farm. Each time is a new experience where I get to view their ongoing growth and progress. Michael and Lylah are amazing and giving people and always try to be attentive to people visiting their farm. They have done an amazing job with their farm which they started from scratch. They have a CSA... More

Contrary to what another reviewer recently shared, this farm is a haven from the chaos of the surrounding suburbia. Some people might not understand how a farm membership works, so let me help you understand: a farm can only produce a certain amount of produce. When there is a membership, it is supported by people that have signed up and... More

While there is one individual disappointed by the farm, they are mistaken in many respects. The farm has hours for purchasing certain items, such as those in the freezer and fridge, to include goat milks, cheeses and caramels (it is a goat farm after all), and they offer meats - beef, chicken and lamb from other farms, eggs, breads, butters...
