Southwest Wildlife Conservation Center is a non-profit rescue and rehabilitation facility specializing in wild mammals. Over 70% of the animals that come into our center are returned to the wild. For those that cannot be released, we offer a home for life in our sanctuary. We conduct guided tours of our sanctuary by appointment only. Reservations are required and can be made on our website under the Visit Us tab.

Very nice base, restrooms and volunteers to help you make trail choice. Gets crowded by 11 am. Go early, take lots of water. Moderate hike.

I visited here with my parents and it’s a really special and inspiring place! The tour was interesting and the animals just beautiful! The work they do here is fantastic and this visit was one of the highlights of our vacation. Highly recommend!

The earlier in the day you go,the better chance there is to see more animals, due to the heat.
