Very winding road with beautiful scenery. Can be a bit scary in the dark with all the twists and narrow turns. on the way to slide rock state park

We don't hike often but wanted to enjoy the Sedona mountain trails. This was a wonderful place to hike for a short time or longer.

This spectacular drive goes between Sedona and Flagstaff. The overlooks are amazing. I agree that it is one of the top ten most scenic drives in the US. In March we saw snow on the ground at the top of the mountain.

Very nice ride going from Sedona to Flagstaff. Only problem was construction. One way traffic on gravel as the rode was tore up. Had to wait about 15 minutes or so for one way traffic to pass. Not recommended for trailers or RV's with this construction going on. Probably be tore up all summer as very little work being done... More

The West Fork trail is a good hike which any fairly mobile person can do. The entire length of the trail is 7 miles round trip, but of course, you can always turn back sooner. It is an in and out trail. You do have to cross several streams, so you need waterproof shoes or tevas. My son got blisters... More

Then you can walk down the stairs to the creek. When warm filled with young swimmers. Along the creek you can walk on a... More

Best if you want to swim. It has a couple of good views that you can get pictures of. I didn't walk the whole trail.

Nice canyon drive with beautiful unexpected scenery. Lovely rock formations. Road construction during our drive in and out but did not detract from the beauty of this place.

I could drive this road 100 times and never get tired of it. Several places to stop and shop and have a snack or lunch. It's just breathtaking. Many places to stop for pictures. Also many places to stop for hiking trails. It's a must go to if you are in Sedona. Even if you just drive to the top... More
