You can drive down the canyon or up depending on your direction. The vista's are awesome. The road is paved but at times steep

Oak Creek canyon is one of the highest rated Scenic drives in the US. Did not get to get out and hike and explore but I read that it’s great.

Highway 89A is the highway that goes through Oak Creek Canyon. You will have plenty of time to get from the Grand Canyon to Sedona before sunset as long as you leave the Grand Canyon before 11 a.m or noon. Travel time is... More
