Lovely street of shops. Touristy...of course. But there is a wide range of stores to meet all your families desires. Lovely view. Parking can be tricky. But go behind the stores for more lots.

Best to get out of town and see the "real" Arizona out at Dry Creek or any of the State Parks that aboud here.

We stopped here to get a flavor of Sedona and I did not particularly like it. It felt like a Mall on steroids. And everything was overpriced. We were there at 230pm, and tried 4 establishments to sit and just have a drink, and even...More

If you like totally touristy places and New Age crystal-gazing, you might love Main Street Sedona -- if you can get there and find a place to park.

We did not do any hiking. You can rent or take jeep rides if you desire. We just walked up and down main street heading into shops. Some of the shops have very step stairs.

Any hotel in the Sedona area is close to hiking trails. You can easily do both with no problem. I like the Courtyard as it is in the middle of town and then you can hike out to wherever you want to go.

Go on a Pink Jeep tour, ask for Roger Johnson and go to Telaquepaque to see the high end Art stores. Walk the path to Bell Rock from the car park off 179 in the village of Oak Creek
