We stopped off for a photo opportunity and loved the views. The Native American stall holders selling hand-made products were wonderful, friendly and informative. The products were authentic & well made although some items seemed a little expensive. It is a great community project.

Nice place for a stop and enjoy the beautiful sights. We also purchased some of the native pottery. It was super windy there and a bit chilly so make sure you bring a jacket.

Enjoyed the outlook even on a windy, cold day. The Navajos selling items, many jewelry were friendly and interesting to talk to. I purchased two earring sets and one bracelet.

This a must stop for great views of the Oak Creek canyon, as well as local shopping for handmade native American art. You can probably bring the price down a little with cash

About a 20 minute drive from uptown Sedona. There are some switchbacks and elevation changes, but nothing too terrifying. The drive is gorgeous offering pullover sites and photo shots galore. The vista overlook has several vantage points, ample parking, restrooms, and tables of Native American vendors and their wares -- quite a few more than the ones by the Dairy... More

Just an awesome view. Another side of Arizona that people do not associate with Arizona, green, tress, and mountains. Most people when they think of AZ they think desert. This is far from desert terrain.

Stopped here on our way to Grand Canyon. Nice for a picture and a view of the Oak Creek Canyon. Reminds you of Blue Ridge Mountains in NC or TN.

Oak Creek Vista located at the top North end of Oak Creek Canyon is about 20 minutes from downtown Sedona in normal traffic. Oak Creek Canyon was created millions of years ago when the flat, slightly inclined, thick lava covered red rock ramp was split by the Oak Creek fault. Counter-intuitive as it seems Oak Creek once ran across the... More

In addition to the great view after winding your way to Flagstaff from Sedona along Oak Creek Canyon, there are many Native Americans selling their authentic wares for half the price that you will find in local tourist stops. Talk with the local artists and learn about the works of the local tribes. Take a few minutes to stretch your... More
