Love the drive up the canyon to the Vista. At the top, turn into the first right. There is lots of parking but it is often full. There are picnic tables, a nice restroom, a gift shop, and a ranger station. The walkway out to the overlook is lined by Indian craftspeople selling their wares. Do stop and take a... More

This is a very scenic area. Fun to look around and take pictures. Be warned though, there is no cell phone service with at&t or Verizon.

We've been there before and always make a point of going back when we are in the area. There are Navajo Indians selling beautiful handmade jewelry that is fun to look at.

Stunning place! Another mom we were visiting in Scottsdale and I, grabbed our 3 kids and made the 1hr drive to Sedona. Beautiful, unbelievable views that look so intense they almost look painted, unreal and phony. But they are REAL and magnificent! I missed the zen, calm and peace I expected and this Californian had always heard about whenever Sedona... More

Wonderful views over the Canyon - it really lives up to its name. Restrooms and ranger information. Also stalls selling native American items aimed at the souvenir market which I wasn't so interested in, but I'm not as keen on shopping as I am at looking at the stunning natural formation of rock and forest!

I loved this drive with my hubby and the views were really cool once you reached the top. If you're looking to take a break from hiking, this is a nice change up.

Stopped in by chance on a Sunday to find some beautiful vistas and an artisan market featuring jewelry and sculptures created by gifted Navajos.

Nice lookout but I would recommend getting on an actual trail to hike the canyon area. The drive is windy and scenic.

This is a absolutely beautiful vista. Right at the beginning of the Colorado Plateau where 89A comes out of the canyon. You can see the entire canyon you just traveled thru with a nice safe trail that brings you along the edge. Plenty of parking. Just beautiful place to stop for an hour. Am glad I did.

Beautiful Vista. Lots of overlooks to see the beauty of this Arizona canyon. This is not a park for hiking however (which is what I thought). Still nice to see.
