Nice canyon hike. Side trail goes to one of the Vortex rock formations. Paved Parking lot at trail head can fill up. Washroom at parking lot. You will need a parking pass to park here. $5 for a day pass, $15 for a seven day...More

We started the hike, but did not finish it... you are asked to be respectful with the fragile Canyon and nature, however you can hear and see cars all the time. We just stopped our hiking when we reached a huge private resort in the...More

Boynton Canyon is another spectacular place in Sedona and this walking track provieds some great visitas and the chance to walk through a canyon. The Vista Trail is also worth doing .

We just love Boynton Canyon. We actually took a SUNSET RED ROCK JEEP tour and this is where they brought us to look at the sunset. Earlier, we had lunch at Enchantment which is also a must see in Boynton Canyon, but that's another review.

Boynton is a bit outside of Sedona, thus not as crowded. The trail to the vortex at the end requires some dexterity, taking no more than 20 minutes, but it is worth it. If you get there by 10, you will likely meet and hear...More

This is a 5-6 mile hike through lovely Boynton Canyon. Since we were staying at the Enchantment resort, we picked up the trail at the back gate of the property, shortening our hike and eliminated the less pretty parts of the hike. The beginning of...More

The trail begins walking past the Enchantment development, and the sound of leaf blowers was with us for about 45 minutes. The trail becomes shaded and a rolling hike for about 2.5 miles then begins climbing, and there is a scramble to get to overlook...More

If you are willing to hike a bit, you will be rewarded with beautiful views of the Box Canyon. The vista overlook is a short side trail up and not far from the parking area, but worth it...almost mystical and utterly relaxing. I later found...More

This trail, and the Deadman's Trail off of it are good for great views. It is fairly easy going at the start, but can get more challenging for those of us who are not the most fit!

As others have said, roads to the trail head are paved and totally accessible. We couldn't find parking in the car park at the trail head but parked on the roadside about 100m away from the car park turn off. The road is... More
