This is a longer hike, but worth it. You go through forest and beautiful bright green leaf trees (Spring). It gets a little steep at the end, but don't miss out on the end of trail view. Get there anyway you can.

We didn't do the entire trail. We stopped off at the vista with the vortex. Really great views from up there. We also found a separate path and climbed up to the other vortex. So peaceful. We even ran into the local guy that hangs...More

We liked this trail for our initial day. It's easy, and it's important to acclimate to the altitude and energy prior to more difficult hikes. We did not go to the end, but we didn't really care for the extent of the resort area into...More

This is a gorgeous hike and has a lot of different terrain. The red rock views are amazing. Keep in mind a lot of the trails in Sedona are not loops so plan accordingly for out and backs or catching other trails to lead back...More

This was one of our favourite hikes in Sedona! We stuck to the Vista Trail, it is fairly short and easy for most people. Once you get to the top there is a vortex and the most beautiful views into the canyon. It was such...More

We visited with our kids, ages 9 & 11 and enjoyed a gorgeous and peaceful walk. The "vista" trail is quick and easy and has terrific views -- perfect for those who only have a half hour or don't want to walk far. Then we...More

We were with a 6 & 7 year-old. When hikers familiar with the trail learned we'd rather do shorter than longer, they suggested taking the Vista Trail. It branches off to the right when on the Boynton Canyon Trail. They said it was more beautiful...More

This is a peaceful, winding trail through a forest. I can only imagine that it is even prettier when there is water flowing in the creek. Make sure you hike to the end. The view is spectacular and the rocks make for a nice place...More

The Boynton Canyon Trail takes a while to get worth it. You must be very patient while you hike the beginning of it. Frankly, the start of it is *horrible*, and I was VERY close to turning around, but I'm glad that I kept going....More

If you go there during a national holiday, there is no fee to park. The same is true for any national park. However, the airport mesa parking fee will still be $3.00 no matter what day you go.
