If you hike, or even walk, go do this trail. It is well traveled and it an easy 3-4 hour out and back hike if you walk at a normal pace. There are a bunch of water crossing, but nothing that you would need to...More
Saw in other reviews sometimes the price to park was $30, guess it depends on time of day, year, and what day of the week. Thursday Aug 30th at 1 PM was $10 bucks. Trail was awesome, very family friendly, crossed the stream multiple times...More
The hike is about 5 miles up and back. It's cooler than some of the other trails because it runs along Oak Creek and has lots of foliage. Not too strenuous, but a great work out. I have a bad knee and didn't have a...More
A beautiful shaded hike across streams and in the forest. Great for an afternoon in the heat. Saw some families on this hike it is definitely family and pet friendly. It does cost money as a state park not part of the Red Rock Pass....More

Yes, it's a fine trail with at least 13 stream crossings through a nice canyon, but oh, my, was it crowded. We started as soon as the gate opened, and saw no one going up, but coming down the trail, we ran into crowds. (One...More

Good morning Jamie! 4 total miles should be do-able in 2.5hrs. As Connie mentioned earlier, I'd time yourself to 1hr 15min in and then turn around to make sure. Time constraints might be time spent getting into the parking area, weather in early November, how many people on the trail and how much time you spend taking pictures, etc. I would think November would encounter less of a crowd since people from PHX are driving up to get away from the heat. There's plenty of shade and you'll enjoy your hike.
