If you hike, or even walk, go do this trail. It is well traveled and it an easy 3-4 hour out and back hike if you walk at a normal pace. There are a bunch of water crossing, but nothing that you would need to...More

Saw in other reviews sometimes the price to park was $30, guess it depends on time of day, year, and what day of the week. Thursday Aug 30th at 1 PM was $10 bucks. Trail was awesome, very family friendly, crossed the stream multiple times...More

The hike is about 5 miles up and back. It's cooler than some of the other trails because it runs along Oak Creek and has lots of foliage. Not too strenuous, but a great work out. I have a bad knee and didn't have a...More

A beautiful shaded hike across streams and in the forest. Great for an afternoon in the heat. Saw some families on this hike it is definitely family and pet friendly. It does cost money as a state park not part of the Red Rock Pass....More

Parking is limited. The round trip took us close to 4 hrs. One of us has bad knees so our pace is slower than most. 13 creek crossings. Several areas were a little tricky, but overall the trail is easy. Bring a walking stick if...More

Yes, it's a fine trail with at least 13 stream crossings through a nice canyon, but oh, my, was it crowded. We started as soon as the gate opened, and saw no one going up, but coming down the trail, we ran into crowds. (One...More

This place is so beautiful! It's a fairly easy hike, crossing back and forth over the Oak Creek. Nice to have a walking stick to help over slippery rocks. Lots of bird, gorgeous views of the rocks. Take a picnic to have by the swimming...More

We have hiked this trail twice. Once at Thanksgiving, and this past weekend in August. Both hikes were amazing! Fairly easy walking with a little climbing (almost like stairs) and some river crossings (13 crossings going in and 13 coming back out). If you take...More

People do park on the side of the road. Personally I think they are crazy. Very narrow, curvy road. Arrive early. We have never had a problem.
