the rest of the drive around Sedona is incredible, the views beyond description. This to me is the only example of man incorporating the natural beauty with a man-made structure. I'm sure there are others but this is my favorite

Wonderful views at the top. You won't need more than 20 minutes for the visit but it was worth the stop. Free parking and no entrance fee

This Chapel is built in the hills of Sedona. It was featured on an episode of Aerial America (Smithsonian Chanel). Otherwise, you can try to drive up the hill, there... More

I usually avoid things that are touristy but I am so glad I did not miss this. It is beautiful and serene even with people coming and going. I place of peace and prayer.

Originally the Chapel was to have been built in Budapest but WWII brought the plans to a halt. Completed in 1956 is a marvel of building directly into the Sedona Buttes.

Phenomenal view and a wonderful sense of serenity. Mom is 90 and was not going to be able to walk up to the chapel because the ramp is quite steep.
