This beautiful little church is a must see. We visited the church and walked through the outdoor Stations of the Cross as well as the adjacent cemetery. Nice quiet place.

This is a wonderful stop while driving around the south side of the island. The story of the church and the Father who did the paintings is a lovely tale of devotion meeting talent.
It's a neat church with a neat history. If stopping by churches is your thing than this is a place to make a short visit. Really pretty on the inside!
This beautiful mission church was saved from the lava that engulfed the village of Kalapana, by moving it on a truck. The decorations and history are wonderful. We recommend that you visit and enjoy both the decorations and it's history.
Beautiful old missionary church adorned with colorful murals throughout. Definitely not a "must-see", but interesting for history buffs.
This was an easy, quick stop and the price is right. We were the only people that were at the church during our visit. The church inside is painted. It was moved to this location in order to save from a lava flow.

Cute little church to see, fun to hear the history from the caretaker. Very picturesque. Off the beaten path a little ways.
