This was the highlight of my trip. Went down to Sierra Vista and Bisbee for the weekend and this was my favorite stop. The $6 admission fee was well worth it. This place is a gem! I wish I had the time (and the stamina) to continue on and do the Hamburg Trail as well. All the benches make this... More

Looking for easy hiking then do hike along the creek bed. If you are up to more strenuous hiking, then head up the mountain side. Try to meet with a docent and learn more about the history and geology of Ramsey Canyon. Our docent was really helpful and informative...thanks Tom Clancy

Awesome, great hike, they have tame deer that roam around the park....legs will feel like jello if you make it to the top of the mountain but it's worth every step to see the view...took me about 2 hours to get to the top, but I walked slow in the beginning. Best thing I did while in sierra vista

Our trip was centred around birding. October was already quiet from the point of view of migrants but the canyon and the Nature Conservancy shop are great.

This is a wonderful place to go walking or hiking. There is a loop to walk or those more adventurous can hike up the mountain. There is such a diverse wildlife population and the trees and stream are wonderful as well. There is a great little gift shop too!

I live 5 miles from this canyon, it is in the middle of the Huachuca mountains. Birdwatching is super great here. Lots of wildlife, cliffs etc. Also there is Baker ranch which is a sort of living museum in brown canyon which is a very interesting and fun place to hike easy trails

Loved visiting and hiking the canyon. However, when we visited in Oct., the hummingbirds had all migrated south. The peak time is May - Aug to view. Beautiful and serene area about 30 mins from Sierra Vista, AZ. Limited parking.. Highly recommend

My husband and I are both runners. This is about a six mile Trail. The terrain can be tough (6,000) ft. Lots of loose rock. The pay off is breath taking views! It was gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Ramsey Canyon is a great place in Sierra Vista's backyard. Close and convenient without having to plan for a long excursion. This place is beautiful and scenic and a great place to see Arizona's diverse wildlife. The only reason it gets 4 stars is cost and closures. Be sure to check their schedule before you head over there...they may be... More
