Newspaper printed like the old days.

Doesn't take long to visit here but it is quite interesting. More old time facts and stories to enjoy.

Took a quick stop and received reproduction copy of the Epitaph from the gunfight era and read testimony of the participants.

My friends and I visited the Epitaph office to pick up our free copy of the historic paper as part of our ticket price at the OK Corral. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed touring this museum of the local newspaper! I had no idea what impact the man who started it had on the area, the... More

We enjoyed the visit to the Tombstone Epitaph since we got to see how the newspaper was printed in the 1800. They have an exhibition of different types of presses. There you can acquire the newspaper printed after the gunfight at the OK Corral and read the view of different people. The lady in charge was helpful and very sweet.

So this is the office of one of two papers in Tombstone at the time, this was the paper that tended to support the Earps against the Cowboys. Admission for this is included in the shootout ticket so come up here and get your copy of the paper from the day after the shootout. Afterwards take a walk in the... More

It was a small building and you could see how they printed the newspapers then. There was a lot of reading (too much for me) and the old machines to look at. It was an ok place to see.

The building is one of the original and looks. They have old printing presses and type on display. If you like old newspaper then this is the place for you. The host was quite nice and explained anything you wanted to know. Plus, it's free!

I got a really neat T-Shirt here and saw old print type. The papers have small print, but the clerk let me substitute a paper with larger print. Buy the combo ticket and the paper is free.
