We (3 girls, age 21-31) went up at 5 in de morning with a really nice guide (touragency: Guatemala sur Mesure). The climb up was harder then I expected, while I would say that I'm pretty sportive. It took us about 2,5 hours to get...More

So first off let me start by saying I'm a climber and backpacker, but this hike will absolutely wear you out! I made it to past the rope swing and could've gone farther but my friend gave out and we had to go back down....More

We had hiked Acatenango the week before and were totally impressed by that, much more than San Pedro. While the hike was beautiful, hence why I gave it 5 stars, I feel as though the 100 q entrance fee was a little too steep. Go...More

The best experience of my life!! It is quite a hike (ca. 4 hours), but totally worth it. Make sure you bring a guide. We were camping at the top of the vulcano and woke up early to see the sunset. Truly unforgetable!

This is intense! It took us 3.5 hours to reach the top--the incline is unforgiving! I thought I was in good shape but I second guess that now--this was incredibly taxing! The view from the top is incredible, if you can make it that far....More

We took a good 2-3 hours to get to the top of the volcano. You need to be in decent shape to do this. Our guide was a lot of fun and taught us a lot of things along the way.

This was a very intense hike and it was my first time doing a hike as well! I am glad I was able to finish and experience it because when you get to the top it is definitely worth it. Halfway up the hike, there...More
