The IMAX movie gives a great history of the Canyon. Not a TRUE IMAX screen - just a huge screen. Worth the stop.More

Thank you for your review. I do have to correct you on the IMAX screen, not only is this a true IMAX screen, it is one of the largest around completely installed and certified by IMAX. We use only an IMAX projection and sound system...More

I'm so glad you were able to enjoy your tour and thanks for your kind review of the film. Great tips on avoiding the crowds that build up during the peak times, it's much more enjoyable when you can actually get to the Canyon quickly....More

The IMAX movie was excellent. It really gives you a different perspective from the one most people leave with of the Grand Canyon if they only see it "from the top". I wished I had the time/energy to watch it again. The rest of the...More

The only reason I gave a four star review is the IMAX. The IMAX was a great experience, but the rest was just a very average gift-shop. With this venue sponsored by National Geographic I expected more.

Thank you for your review and for stopping by, I'm afraid you may have missed several key reasons to stop including the Nat Geo gallery and large map found in the lobby. Marty

The IMAX was, good but otherwise this is a large gift shop. Has a great selection to be sure and the best prices I saw anywhere around the park. It's a little misleading saying visitor center but good none the less.

Gorgeous IMAX movie with footage only possible as IMAX producers do it. One could never see things from this perspective unless you are a drone ..... AAA discount is accepted.

Don't be fooled into thinking this is really a visitor center, it is just a gift shop. The Arizona information center is just across the road with very helpful staff and good information.More

Not sure what I was expecting, but this wasn't it. Mostly, it's a gift shop with an Imax theater. They have a neat map with interesting history on the canyon, but that's really it. We went on our last day at the canyon, so we...More
