This is the best of centrally located attractions during my annual trek to Surprise. Just a carefree 10-minute drive and I'm in heaven! Daily park entry is $6 per vehicle and totally worth it, as this park is immaculate! There are well over 10 trails...More

On the edge of the Valley of the Sun (phoenix metro area and environs) is a great natural and undeveloped park-- a road and relatively small and very basic camp areas. Pure nature, minimal enhancements As a result be aware and plan ahead if staying

A pretty cool place for having a party! Ramadas are available. Lots of open space for kids to run around. There are hiking trails, but be sure to bring lots of water and pay attention to where you're going. Entrance fee is $6 per car.

The only thing we saw was a couple lizards. However, that wildlife exists but are more afraid of us typically, especially if they hear you.
