Was suggested by a friend who made the trip to Grand Canyon 2 weeks before us. Its a drive through wild animal park, then you park and check out the zoo-like animal rescue. Its clean and beautiful! The people of Bearizona are doing wonderful things with those rescue animals. Petting Zoo, gift shops, and cafe inside as well. We had... More

One of the first animals that we encountered were a couple of bear cubs chasing each other in front of our car and running up and down the tree trunks. So adorable!! Saw lots of wildlife relaxing in nice natural surroundings while we drove around in the park. After our drive through, we parked the car and went into the... More

Well worth the money. I suggest taking the free bus tour that the park offers, (hopefully you get Norm as your tour guide. He is the best!). We saw a lot of animals. The restaurant is delicious. Great family friendly place. They have a very interesting and commendable recycling program and they rescue the majority of their animals and fix... More

This was my fourth visit to Bearizona & I've enjoyed each one. I brought my 88yr old mother & the staff were terrific !! They volunteered wheelchair before we had a chance to check availability & made sure she had help getting on the bus. The bus tour was informative & fun for all. We loved the raptor show &... More

This is a privately funded sanctuary for wildlife that can no longer survive in the wild. Take the open air tram around the park to get a guided tour and to take great pics of bears, deer, elk and long horn sheep. It was rather cold the day we were there, but it was well worth the trip. There are... More

We have lived in the Prescott Valley area, and pass by this place when going to the Grand Canyon and always wanted to see this place, so today was the day we decided to check it out. So glad we did because we hit all of our expectations. We got there early because it was recommended to be there to... More

We visited Bearizona on our way from Williams to Flagstaff. It was nice to visit a drive-thru zoo! The animals were all very active and seemed quite happy in their natural habitat.

We were doing Flagstaff, Grand Canyon and Sedona...so glad we stopped at Bearizona! We admit, we were a little nervous when we rolled up on the Bears...they are literally right there next to your car as you drive through! But it was so cool to get close to them and all the other animals wandering around. The walk through section... More

We live in Hawaii and don't get to see wildlife like this. Right off the trail/road in their natural environment, lounging, roaming, eating, sleeping. We loved the drive through nature of it all. It really heightened the intensity of the experience. We definitely went to the petting zoo afterward too. We are in our 40s-50s so not just for kids.... More

Our 8 year old son was thrilled to see all of the animals in the drive thru area and take photos. The animals come right by your car! The exhibits and raptor show were great! Very friendly, informative staff. Very clean and well maintained. We did not eat there, but the prices looked on the high side. The ticket prices... More
