Williams is a neat place to visit, with varied venues and things to see. Right now, it is our quiet time, so if you like and prefer less hassle and bustle, Williams right now is the place to walk. One can do the whole downtown area very quickly. Businesses are gearing up for their new look right now, so stay... More

Our first stop was Williams . We just had to see Route 66. This was the last town to take the bypass by the interstate highway. It was like stepping back in time. It seemed like such a friendly little town. People actually smiled and said hello

Came up here for a night from Sedona with my boyfriend who had a conference here. I kept myself busy walking around town and checking out all the shops. Fun little town for a night!

Very interesting town tight out of the past. Route 66 with lists of history. Very enjoyable. Very much a tourist trap but fun.

Williams is a nostalgic town. It is as it was from the 50's. We loved the charm and beauty of the 'ol days and right on the original Route 66.

Historic Route 66 passes through the quaint little town of Williams. This small town is a great place to stop, explore and eat. It has an Old West feel to it and a saloon type bar, quirky store and lots of cafés and restaurants in which to enjoy a meal, there is even a Route 66 Zip Line. You can... More

Relive the old west as the cowboys in Williams reenact a gunfight right in the middle of the old Route 66 main street through town (around 7pm each evening). They even pull members of the crowd into this event and add some humor to it as well. There are several restaurants and old businesses from the Route 66 days to... More

I loved this town! Plenty of lodging, lots of delicious restaurants (although they are all a little over priced they know how to get the tourists!). My husband and I saw a cowboy show. There was also a lot of beautiful art stores.

Great walk and plaques to tell you history of Williams and the Mother Road, Route 66!! Plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, curiosity abounds! Especially liked shop Addicted to Route 66 and the Canyon Club bar and restaurant. Don't forget to ask about the tunnels and mineshaft that ran under the downtown area. Sultana Theatre and Pine Canyon Restaurant were outstanding!
