My husband was dragging his feet about going here, but I insisted. We both thoroughly enjoyed the hour long tour, which includes a hike partially around the top of the crater. Our guide was very informative and kept the tour moving.

Very interesting place. It is hard to imagine what it must of been like the it hit the earth. The hole it left speaks volumes of the impact.

Great learning experience! Giant crater near Winslow. Couldn’t walk around it because the wind was so strong. Helpful employees. Good movies and informative museum.

Took a road trip December 2017 and must say this was a highly recommended location when traveling in/near I-40 in Arizona...and must say that it was such an amazing site. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and the sight itself is such grandiose. Must see!

Amazing site, very informative staff and museum. Guided tours available on the hour, and short movie. Gift shop full of minerals and gems, some for purchase, all to gawk at.

Commercial buses routinely park there. The lot will accommodate a fleet of RVs and a few space ships.

You can just rock up, pay $18 each, walk up some stairs and voila. So, yes, you could see it in 30 mins.
